Dr. Samara S. Churgin
Dr. Samara S. Churgin is a Co-founder and Senior Partner of a Multi-Specialty Practice, Doctors for Surgery, P.L.L.C. Dr. Churgin is a member of an elite group of Female Plastic Surgeons who are double Board-Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a Board Certified General Surgeon by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Churgin is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Churgin is formally fellowship-trained in Aesthetic Surgery and she is nationally recognized in the field of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Churgin is the Treasurer of the Young Physicians Sector of the Medical Society of the State of NY.
She is highly regarded and respected by both colleagues and patients. Dr. Churgin was awarded The Patients Choice Award and The Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award for 2011. Dr. Churgin is among the Leading Plastic Surgeons in the country and is a specialist in Restoration of Figure, Form and Function.
Dr. Churgin continues to be admired by her colleagues, and family and friends as a philanthropist. She makes time to volunteer for the less fortunate individuals who live in underserved communities within our cities near and far. The generous donations given to the needy by Dr. Churgin over the years have made a tremendous difference in their lives, and has been one of the most rewarding experiences in her life. Dr. Churgin is very much concerned with Women’s wellness and healthcare issues. She is a benefactor for many National Charities among which are: The American Heart Association, Local and National Breast Coalition groups for Breast Cancer, The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, The American Diabetes Association, and The Foundation for Sight and Sound.
Dr. Churgin, outside of her surgical practice, enjoys a very active lifestyle including dancing, exercising several times a week, hiking, jogging in Central Park, and swimming. Her life’s ambition is to improve her patient’s figure, form, and function.
